Born in Southeast Anishinaabe Aki (Michigan) and residing in the homelands of the Tongva Nation (Los Angeles), DANIELLE YOUNG is a Black agender artist whose practice currently includes writing, acting, and photography. Through creating, Danielle aims to visibilize the complex personhood of real people not depicted in popular media.Danielle is excited by speculative fiction, queer narratives, and unsympathetic characters.Danielle is a recipient of the 2021 Outfest Trans and Nonbinary Acting Fellowship, a 2023 Open Television (OTV) Fellow, and a co-founder of the network building group 'COVID Conscious Creatives'. Most days you can find Danielle cycling the streets of Los Angeles and taking photos.
