Midwest born and LA based, DANIELLE YOUNG is a writer, actor, and photographer fascinated by humans and systems. Danielle’s work aims to showcase people and experiences rarely depicted in popular media, while encouraging audiences to make connections between their interpersonal lives and the systems and structures that influence them. When not writing, acting, or taking photos, Danielle can be found cycling, gardening, and building community through the networking group 'COVID Conscious Creatives'.Danielle is excited by speculative fiction, queer narratives, and unsympathetic characters.Upcoming on-camera releases include: 'My Only Friend Is A Robot Named Beans' (dir. Anika Kan Grevstad), opposite Midori Francis; 'Shpilkes' (dir. Hannah Berkowitz); and apocalyptic UCLA MFA thesis 'Poetica for the Living' (dir. Kaith Karishma). Danielle is a 2023 OTV Fellow and a 2021 Outfest Trans/Non-binary Acting Fellow.
